Every spare minute we've had lately has been spent in our unfinished, but almost finished basement. It's taken us a while, but we're in the exciting stages of paint, tile, and carpet. Our goal is to have our family over for a party during the first game BYU plays away from home. That's on September 6th. Yay for a finished basement, the return of spare time, and weekly Saturday football parties! We live for Fall and BYU football!

...Followed by painting! We bought a sprayer because we figured it would save time. It has saved tons of time, but there was a definite learning curve. Rob got much of it back in his face. Once he got the hang of it, he looked like a pro. I love my handy man!
After seeing the previous picture, you can understand why Rob wanted some new personal protective equipment, such as eye gear. We tried it on Alaina first. I'm not sure she approved of it.

Dani!! I miss you too! Our internet is few and far between right now, and my cell phone is out of battery...forgot the charger in salt lake... So I will call you when i get it in the mail :) You have the cutest little girl ever! She is getting so big and is so dang cute. I LOVE the dress that your mom gave her. Congrats on the almost finished basement. I can't believe football season is hear again. Having a baby makes things go so much faster.
Can't wait to see it all done. And can't wait until the first BYU game this Saturday. My kids are soo excited
We know all about finishing the basement and BYU football. We finished our basement at this same time last year. Nate was so excited when it was finally finished so he could watch the games down there. I love the picture of her in the goggles it is the cutest.
