It's hard to believe Halloween is over and it's already November! Even more strange is the fact that Alaina is 10 months old...only 2 more months until she's a year! Really, where has the time gone?
For Halloween, we went to Rob's sister's house and had a party with the family. It was great fun. Here's our costumes....
A very sweet, cute, and unscary spider (the only spider I don't scream, run and freak out from)
A very scary Mommy and Daddy
I included this one of Rob, his sister Kristy, and me because for how pure and wholesome and good Rob is, he pulled off his goth thing a little too well! He looks just like the devil!
This was Alaina's cousin's costume. So, that's what she would look like with hair...
A couple of weeks ago, we had a Halloween dinner with Rob's family. It's tradition to pull out all the decorative stops and to find new recipes for a creepy menu. We started a few years ago because we thought it would be fun for the kids. I think all the adults enjoy it more now than the kids.
Now for an update on Alaina. She started crawling on Halloween and as all you moms out there know, that changes A LOT of things! She also cut her first tooth. She says "ba ba" for bottle. She holds her own bottle. All this in the past week. Wow! I feel like if I blink, I might miss something. Here's a few pictures of her from the past month.
We went up to the Utah State-BYU game at the beginning of October. My mom watched Alaina for us at our cabin in Paradise (that's the name of the town, no joke), then we all spent the weekend together listening to General Conference and hanging out. My uncle has a dairy farm up there and we took Alaina to see the baby calves. I don't think she knew what to think.
And finally, here's our little visitor, a porcupine. That was my first time ever seeing one in real life.

I love how into it you all get. I really want to see pictures from last year's dinner - do you have pictures of that?
I wasn't even sure that was you and Rob. Freaking crazy. The arm tats are a plus. Your spider looks DARLING. Your Halloween food looks yummy. Miss you in YW too.
Hey Dani! I found your blog from my cousin Missy's.
Alaina is so cute!! it seems like we were just at your baby shower.
I love blogging! Our blog is coryannie.blogspot.com. Maybe we can keep up on what is going on in life since we don't see each other more than once a year!
You and Rob are hillarious! I loved all of your costumes. I need to do some sort of party like that. What festive people you are!!!!
It has been WAY too long! Crawling, teeth, words, holding her own bottle!?! Hooray! (And LOOK OUT!) They learn so fast! I'm sure she'll be walking soon!
I love the costumes and am definitely thinking next year we'll have to do a creepy halloween dinner! How fun!
Hey, Dani! It was great to hear from you. You have such a cute family! I'm glad you have a blog, it's fun to keep in touch with people so easily! I love what you did with your basement, you're so creative!
I'm glad you guys had a fun Halloween. Was Alaina scared of you because I was!?! I miss you in YW, I bore my testimony the week you got released but I guess you weren't there to here all the nice things I said about you. Maybe I'll bring you a card w/ cookies. I still want to see your basement in person.
Hey, cute pics! My bro was an emo too, you guys kicked his bum! Great job! Anyway, I tagged you on my blog, check it out! I want you to do it if you get a chance. I mean, you are too perfect...there has got to be some quirks in you somewhere! :)
Dani, How are you? I found your blog through the viewmont one. It's so good to see your face again! What a cute baby girl you have. I also love your basement. I wish I could do that. I have a blog too, so email me if you would like an invite. My email is brookehvatgmaildotcom.

I remember Savannah learned how to do all those "Firsts" within one week also. It kind of scared me, so I just held her all the time so she wouldn't learn anything else. Don't Blink, it's so true!
I love a costume that you have to be in character for in every photo! You make a great goth couple!
